Job Summary:

As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our cloud-based SaaS application. You will work directly with development, product, and implementation teams to ensure that both new features and customer-specific configurations meet the highest quality standards. Additionally, you’ll contribute to the development of automated tests and participate in customer program testing before go-live. Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Customer Program Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of customer-specific configurations to verify that the platform functions as expected and meets customer requirements before going live.
  • Manual Testing: Test new features, functionality, and bug fixes across the platform, ensuring that all software is defect-free, meets product requirements, and maintains high-quality standards
  • Test Case Development: Assist in writing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and checklists based on product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira. Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are resolved efficiently
  • Test Automation: Help design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools, gradually building your skills in this area.
  • Support Collaboration: Work closely with the support team to investigate and resolve recurring issues, improving product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospectives, feedback loops, and process improvement initiatives to streamline testing workflows, tools, and methodologies.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies, testing processes, and different testing types (manual, functional, regression, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing tools and technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud-based applications or SaaS platforms is highly preferred

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and a critical mindset for analyzing software functionality and user experience.
  • Basic proficiency with Jira
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with APIs and API testing.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Experience with security testing and related tools is a plus
  • Certification in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
  • Previous experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced development environment.
